A little about me.

I'm Carly, a Senior Social Media Strategist who specialized in large-scale brands. I understand what it means to be the voice of a brand and connect with audiences through carefully curated content. With nearly five years of experience, I've designed and executed impactful social media strategies for a variety of household brands in the home and lifestyle, travel and hospitality, and retail verticals.

Combining my passion for compelling storytelling, my “always on” mindset when it comes to executing trends, and my eye for scroll-stopping content, I know to unlock growth through the ever-changing social landscape.

NBA | October 2022– Present | Social & Digital Partner Integration - Commerce Platforms

· Manage the NBA Store’s social media accounts, developing strategic brand voice and copy, planning content calendar, creating video and photo-based content about merchandise, and publishing content

· Develop commerce strategy on the NBA App to drive merchandising revenue for licensed products and partners, including Nike, Under Armour, Fanatics, Lids, New Era Cap, and Crocs

· Optimize content by utilizing commerce features native to social platforms

· Work with the Consumer Products Partnerships team to support key initiatives and tentpole events in the sales calendar

· Analyze social metrics to increase engagement and sales across social and digital channels

· Produce photo and video-based social media content for live player appearances

Dotdash Meredith | August 2022– Present | Social Media Producer, Freelance

Manage and execute Pinterest strategy copywriting for Southern Living. Adapt editorial content for social media audiences to drive traffic, engagement, and growth. Manage and execute daily posting of Instagram Stories for The Spruce and MyDomaine. Plan and execute daily TikTok posting for The Spruce and MyDomaine through UGC outreach and communication with video production team.

Birdy Grey | September 2022– February 2023 | Influencer Relations Coordinator, Freelance

Managed all aspects of influencer campaigns, including outreach, contract negotiation, campaign tracking, and relationship management. Collaborated with creative team to develop branded content for distribution on social media.

Brought the QVC brand to life across social platforms to engage and connect with a diverse community of shoppers. Assisted Social Strategists in curating content and writing social media posts with original copy for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

Style Me Pretty | April 2021 – Present | Social Media Marketing Assistant

Style Me Pretty is a leading wedding publication and product line with a combined social audience of over ten million. My responsibilities included strengthening community engagement, writing social media copy and editorials, building digital campaigns, analyzing social media metrics, producing organic and paid content to all social channels, and developing competitor analyses.

Hemsworth Communications is an award-winning public relations firm, specializing in the travel/tourism sector. In this role, I supported the franchising, food and beverage, and hospitality and travel accounts in securing media coverage, reaching out to influencers, and building media lists.

I worked as a social media intern on The Bridal Council's Instagram (@nylbfw) to promote the Spring 2021 bridal fashion shows.
